Picture of a Mannequin "I felt she’d become uneasy"

I walked the Balad in search of beauty to fill my CCMOS. I came across an abandoned mannequin on the side walk, she spoke of more emotions than the beings around her, her nose was disfigured and so was the environment, she wore sunglasses and was missing the lower part of her body. I got closer to her and felt she’d become uneasy, I shushed her and began snapping my shutter without reluctance, I then hear the men behind me giggling “Oh thy Merchants of Downtown look upon thee, this colorful Lad thinks it’s real”

FASTLINK comment by Mahd Tahboub

Sabri, going back to ur fastlink topic even though a couple of days past for that post I still would like to point out a couple of issues regarding GSM service providers in Jordan.Well even though currently I have tested all service provider, I really don’t care what each company is trying to market, am not a fastlink fan too, not for the reason that u r annoyed with their advertisements but for technical reasons that I would like to share with others to prove technically for the Jordanians what’s really going on in this multi million market.

1. Unfortunately Fastlink has the majority of GSM users and that makes their company in control of the market, I really don’t blame Fastlink and I definitely blame the ignorance of Jordanians for this monopoly. For this reason Fastlink is ignoring many services that are a must for consumers where mobilecom and omnia offer and try to educate and inform customers about such services in order to compete with Fastlink. For example, mobilecom they are so detailed and well established in their services to the point where once I had to setup my imate pocket pc phone to connect to the internet over gprs, mobilecom managed to place a detailed step by step instructions on their website and I think this is a great option. On the other hand I wanted to setup this service on fastlink, of course they do not offer the imate phone settings on their customer service and asked me to visit any fastlink showroom after I tried calling 12 times and no one pick up cause I have a prepaid SIM. So I decided to follow up and head to Abdoon showroom where I figured out no one has any idea to setup the phone, later they asked me to visit their main showroom on the eighth circle.

2. I assure you from my testing that mobilecom never dropped a call and the service of their network coverage is the best in Jordan.

3. Fastlink is controlling Jordanians by their expensive interconnection charges (cost of calls between two different networks) as the majority use Fastlink, people think they save money as most of their calls are to Fastlink and this is partially true.

4. For internet geeks and technology freaks, internet over gprs using Fastlink network is the most expensive, slowest, and the worse but still people stick to Fastlink cause of the interconnection charges to other networks. By the way Omnia they have the best prices and offers for calls, gprs internet and services but still need to work on their networks and sms services to the rest of the world.

Finally summarizing up fastlink lacks many other services that I did not mention, and monopoly made them ignore many services that mobilecom and omnia offer efficiently. One thing I would like to add and is the most important that Fastlink sometimes cheats with the switches of their networks and cause other networks calling Fastlink phones drop calls of course naïve customers would believe their mobilecom or omnia network sucks, this is illegal and the TRC (telecommunications regulatory comity) does not realize that until now.Fastlink is cheating the customers and spending millions in advertisements trying to get consumer confidence, but the media campaigns are all false, only to keep up with minor competitions and the real power Fastlink has is Interconnection fee to other networks. If there is no interconnection fee no one will stick to Fastlink.

Picture, Story, Theory…"Allah Yewafgak Ya Khoy"

It feels like I have paid a visit to the Mokhabarat. I'm sick, I took the day off and I still woke up at 9:09, god damn the Body Clock. (Going back a week or two) Its 2:43, I'm stuck in a traffic jam. "Allah Yewafgak Ya Khoy" her voice cracked in more ways than I thought possible, just another Um-Uthaina traffic light, a female, still wrinkle free held an ill baby, went up to different windows of different cars spotting sympathy. There he was, apparently a rich father of the two young girls in the back seat, five or six years old. She tried exposing the baby's face, I watched while the young girls climbed over one another to get a glimpse of its face, once they did they gaped at it. Three seconds later the woman walks away and the two girls in the backseat have big smiles on their faces, they lifted their hands and shook them, forcing themselves to giggle. Below: (from a website that discuses the works of Sigmund Freud)

"The defense mechanisms, Denial involves blocking external events from awareness. If some situation is just too much to handle, the person just refuses to experience it. This is a primitive and dangerous defense, no one disregards reality and gets away with it. It can operate by itself or, more commonly, in combination with other, more subtle mechanisms that support it."
The picture is a year old, its the most relevant I thought.

Picture "Tooth Brushes of Tabarboor"

Tiny little hands each morning struggling to make it over the sink and all the way to the wall of the tooth brushes, it often takes them a couple of attempts, While Mama Baheyeh cleans up the remains of the breakfast, and Khaleh Samya waves a visible hello from her house, young boys and girls, some strangers to one another brush away the sorrows of life. Above is a picture of the Tooth brushes used by the kids at the S.O.S. I was happy to see a Colgate toothbrush amongst them. This I had done for I Magazine, once the issue is out I will post some of the Photos I took there, some are amazing.

"Veranda of Jeans"

I hate working on Saturday, all the people that don’t, you just don’t work as hard as we do!!! Its 8:16 AM now, I still have to shower and get dressed, I took a look outside the window desperate for any signs of trouble any excuse to dismiss a days work (Smoke, Fire, signs of a Hurricane. Anything!), Fridays are never relaxing and Saturdays seem like they are. But the electricity was working, the 5th Circle seemed busy as usual, the Maids were on their Verandas, workers were on the Side walks, people awaiting white busses with green stripes, the school buss was still beeping for that child that is always late, NOPE!! I don't have an excuse its normal Saturday "Must go to work, Must go." I keep on telling my self.
here is something that caught my attention though, the "Veranda of Jeans", here is a picture of a neighbors Veranda, 3ala 2ol that guy from Hoor il 3een "Lil Boyouty 2asraroha".

ABDOUN,,, Pictures I took of (Tash7eet) before Iftar.

Sigmund Freud

"I have found little that is (good) about human beings on the whole. In my experience most of them are trash, no matter whether they publicly subscribe to this or that ethical doctrine or to none at all. That is something that you cannot say aloud, or perhaps even think."

"A man should not strive to eliminate his complexes but to get into accord with them: they are legitimately what directs his conduct in the world. "

"Neurosis is the inability to tolerate ambiguity."

"The impression forces itself upon one that men measure by false standards, that everyone seeks power, success, riches for himself, and admires others who attain them, while undervaluing the truly precious thing in life. ."

"America is a mistake, a giant mistake."

10 min ride

I get to work 10 minutes early so I decide to go for a 10 min ride. I hate the gardens street, I hate seeing people yawn when I want to, I hate wanting to turn back home, I hate wandering off so early. 5 minutes later, an old man approached the window of my car, dressed in blue, had a white beard and torn apart slippers on, held Al-Dostoor Newspaper “Read about the American who pointed a gun at kids” he says, I peaked at the picture trying to avoid direct sunlight, had a few flash backs of yesterdays series Hour il 3een and Tareek il Wa3er, smiled at him, he smiles back with the 6 of his remaining teeth. Goddamn telecommunications, digital broadcasting, foreign policy, the UN, the conspiracy theories, the US dollar and globalization they’ve just ruined my morning.

For me, I plan on doing a Kitmeh (reading the Holy Quran), planning to quit smoking after 40,000 cigarates in last 10 years, I'm planning to drink a lot of Amar il Deen and to Watch Hoor il 3een. I have too much on my mind to make this into a poem.

Happy Ramadan to you all.

Outside my window at 4:00 AM

Laying on my recliner under a cool breeze of air from the back window, smoking a perfect Marlboro Light (Amreeky) while sipping on my blood orange juice, watching 24 season 4. Jack shoots, Jack is shot, life goes on. It was as perfect as it gets on 4AM, I hoped the sun would sleep in. Then like all stories I heard a noise, I live on the 4th floor noise could only be made from an obese neighbor having trouble sleeping, at 4 AM all noises should be distinct, I muted the TV and slightly moved my neck to the left while half blinking my right eye, It sounded like a cat was in a plastic bag and wanted to get out, but from miles away, I got up, looked outside the window, there were no cars no people, the rays of the orange street lights were disturbing yet not enough to distract me from hearing the sound, I looked around and saw something fidgeting next to the garbage. More than 150 feet away, I thought it was a cat at first, then it turns out it's man, tearing up every bag that was in that garbage can as if he was looking for doze of a drug he had gotten addicted to, only thought rushing through my mind was terrorists on 24 saying Allah Akbar before attempting any murder. he wore a black pants, black shirt, black cap and at 4 am, it was clear he didn’t want to be seen, I looked back inside the room and saw remains of snacks and fruits on the table for the maid to clean up, I grabbed my camera took a few shots and thought about how far away our worlds were, if only a sperm and egg met else where I could be there fighting him for a crushed Pepsi can.

Thought about a Blog

I need a laptop and a calculator,
I want to make use of technology,
I want to color my teeth blue and be seen in red,
I'll utilize technology and become self sufficient and expressive,
I need either kind of nets, cards, a Microsoft waterproof chip
And some creative sounds to join millions,
Let me have initiative and build a site,
Using my hands and over-used mussels, ill sweat bleed and feel back pain building it,
Ill carry pixel's on my shoulder while I drag wagons of codes and designs,
So at night I can feel masculinity knowing I built something of architectural value presenting part of my modernized wisdom.
